Laser Safety Computer Program.

Abstract

The increasing use and development of laser systems in the Navy require careful attention to laser safety. The first step in achieving safe laser operation is to analyze the system accurately. The Laser Safety Computer Program described in this report accurately evaluates all laser sources over a wide range of conditions. The computer program is a self-consistent interpretation of the American National Standard for the Safe Use of Lasers (ANSI Z-136.1-1976).
