Teratogenicity of Dimethylmorpholinophosphoramidate (DMMPA) and Diethylmorpholinophosphoramidate (DEMPA) in Rats.

Abstract

The teratogenic potentials of dimethylmorpholinophosphoramidate (DMMPA) and diethylmorpholinophosphoramidate (DEMPA) were investigated in the rat. Oral doses accumulating to 1.0 and 0.1 LD50 for each compound were administered over the 10 day period of organogenesis (day 6-15). The control group was given saline, 1ml/kg/day, on the same schedule. The litter sizes and conditions for each group were evaluated. No significant differences were found between control and test groups. DMMPA and DEMPA were not teratogenic at 0.1 or 1.0 LD50.
