Midwater Acoustic Measurement System - PAR and ACODAC

Abstract

This report describes the work performed by Texas Instruments under Contract N00014-75-C-0107 during the period 16 October 1974 to 1 March 1978. Contract N00014-75-C-0107 includes the development and construction of the Programmable Acoustic Recorder (PAR) electronics together with the development of operational software. Effort under this contract also includes acceptance testing of the PAR system electronics; PAR mechanical design, construction, and testing; underwater cable and hydrophone/pre-amp assembly design and construction; and a refurbishment of the Acoustic Data Capsules (ACODAC), S/N's 002 and 005.
