Abstract

This report covers the preparation and evaluation of conceptural designs for two satellite fiber optic links and an experiment to validate their space worthiness in extensive ground and flight tests, and defines an appropriate set of requirements, performance characteristics and interface criteria to allow compatible integration of the ESSEX into a space vehicle.
