Integrated Computeraided Manufacturing (ICAM) Architecture Part II. Volume VIII. Composite Function Model of 'Design Product' (DESIGN0)

Abstract

The overall objective of the Integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing (ICAM) Architecture Part II was to utilize and expand the manufacturing architecture. Included in this objective were the support and direction of future ICAM projects, logical design of manufacturing systems, validation and verification of ICAM modules, integration of ICAM modules and the orderly transition of ICAM modules into ICAM systems. This volume, Volume VIII, presents the composite view depicting the design process as it exists today in the form of an AS IS Function Model of Manufacturing.
