Eddy Current Surface Inspection of Disks.
Abstract
This report describes a program that established an automated system for eddy current surface inspection of rotating hardware from aircraft engines. This report includes: a detail description of the system's hardware, software and the relationship between modules; the metallographic verification results; probes and standards, operating and maintenance procedures; installation specification; and prototype manipulator module specifications.
