Abstract

This Final Report describes results of the Computer-Based Information System (CBIS) project conducted for the Integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing (ICAM) Program. This project (Priority 3101) defined the requirements of a computer network that would integrate the functions of aerospace batch manufacturing. This Final Report is presented in four volumes. This part, Volume 1, is a Summary and Overview document, which describes the conduct of the project and its major conclusions and recommendations.
