The Air Staff/Congressional Interface - What Action Officers Need to Know.

Abstract

The author uses the results of research and two years of personnel experience in the legislative liaison business to provide action officers with basic information on the congressional budget process and their role in that process. Discussion of the role and power of the congressional staff, procedures for congressional interface, and techniques for working more effectively with Congress should improve the skills of action officers and their potential for success.
