Abstract
This document, Volume II, Part 2, of the Final Technical Report contains the Factory of the Future Conceptual Framework Needs Analysis Document. This document identifies the needs for improving AS-IS factory operations and to provide the concepts for the operation of an aerospace factory in 1995. Seven major needs categories were identified. These are: Information Resource Management, Management & Control, Product Definition and Planning, Product Assurance, Human Resource Management and Financial Management. A series of matrices define the application of these needs categories to the FOF functions as detailed in the Scoping Document.
