Determination of Drug Pharmacokinetics and Metabolic Profile.
Abstract
During the period from November, 1982, to current time, we have been involved in various studies on drug pharmacokinetics and metabolism in animals. This work has included studies on three different compounds, all new potential anti-malarial drugs. Studies on two of these compounds WR 171,669 and WR 178,460 in beagle dogs have been completed. An interim report on WR 178,460 has been completed and submitted and a similar report on WR 171,669 is in preparation. Some investigations on the metabolism of WR 158,122 in rhesus monkeys are still in progress. A summary of the results for each compound is presented.
