Synthesis of New Antimalarial Agents.

Abstract

This report pertains to synthesis of New Antimalarial Agents. The objective of this project is to synthesize potential antimalarial compounds of the following types; Peroxides based on qinghaosu; Pro-drugs of primaquine; and Thymidylate synthetase inhibitors. This report describes the work carried out on this contract during the period April 1, 1983 to July 31, 1983.
