Abstract

The ASTROS (Automated Structural Optimization System) procedure provides a multidisciplinary analysis and design capability for aerospace structures. The engineering analysis capabilities in the system include structural analysis (static and dynamic), aeroelastic analysis (static and dynamic) and automated design. A specifically designed data base and executive system were implemented to maximize the system's efficiency, flexibility, and maintainability. Automated design, structural analysis, Multidisciplinary analysis, Flutter analysis, Dynamic analysis.
