Digital Refractometry of Piezoelectric Crystals.
Abstract
The Final Report describes the program undertaken to implement a new method for measuring the refractive indices of optical materials known as Digital Refractometry, Included in the report is a description of the program, classical methods for measuring the refractive index, the foundations of Digital Refractometry for isotropic and anisotropic materials and the laboratory configuration for Digital Refractometry. In the final section of the report a description of a Digital Refractometer built for operation at 6328A (HeNe) is described.
