Advanced Technology Anti-G Suit (ATAGS) Fabrication

Abstract

The development and testing of twelve extended coverage Gravity-suits is addressed in this report. These suits were proven superior to the current CSU-13/BP suits at Edwards AFB during flight trails in 1988. Utilizing the comments from the pilots in the 1988 flight trials, the suits discussed in this report improved comfort, donning/doffing and mobility without sacrificing performance. An account of the conceptual, developmental and testing stages of the extended coverage Gravity suits, i.e., the Advanced Technology Anti Gravity Suit (ATAGS), is provided.
