Instrument to Measure the Oxygen Equilibrium Curve.

Abstract

The objective of this Phase I SBIR project was to design and produce a prototype instrument package that implements existing methods of measuring, recording and analyzing the oxygen equilibrium curve of blood and/or hemoglobin solutions. The instrument was to include a thermostated reaction cuvette; computer controlled oxygenation data recording and display; and evaluation of data by computer programs provided by the contracting Army laboratory, The Letterman Army Institute Of Research. The instrument was to be a working version of the instrument existing in that laboratory.
