Commercial Products from Demilitarization Operations

Abstract

This report surveys technical literature for processes which could be used to convert Russian chemical agents to useful products. Possible reactions to explain a Russian process for the conversion of Lewisite to Arsenic are presented. A short reference on the economic viability of high-purity Arsenic production is provided. A Westinghouse process is offered as a possible solution to the Russian problem. Demilitarization, Arsenic, Plasma torch, Lewisite, Conversion of CW Agents.
