Particular emphases include investigation of the ANAM psychometric battery; application of ANAM and other instrumented measurement to detecting and characterizing concussion; investigation of the cognitive effects of ginkgo on stroke patients; application and evaluation of virtual reality technologies; design of new composite long leg braces as well as assistive devices for exercise, biofeedback and recreation; and studies of gait and how it loads lower extremity orthotics and is altered by surgery.
