Abstract
Summaries are given of radar and communication development up to 1946. Use of radar in navigation, all weather flying, and guided missiles in air force operation is discussed. Future trends of pulsed radar, target properties, propagation, CW detection methods, radar countermeasures, bombsights and computer beacons, electronic components, etc., are discussed. Current communication practice and recent developments in aircraft radio communication equipment are outlined.
