Repair Procedures for Advanced Composite Structures.

Abstract

The objective of this program is to develop repair technology that can be used to restore the structural integrity of damaged graphite-epoxy and hybrid composite aircraft structure. Research is being conducted to identify and classify damage, to perform repairs compatible with strength and functional requirements, and to verify the strength and durability of repaired structure.
