Bibliography of SEAS Sponsored Publications, Version I

Abstract

The long range acoustic propagation project (LRAPP) was established in the office of Naval Research in 1966 to provide ocean acoustic support for the design, development, deployment and operation of antisubmarine warfare systems. In 1975 LRAPP was relocated in the naval ocean research and development activity (NORDA). LRAPP has sponsored, independently or in conjunction with other program offices, literally hundreds of ocean acoustic investigations ranging from major at-sea measurement exercises to small studies of particular phenomena. The broad scope of effort encompasses topics of interest to both the R&D and operational navy communities.
