Abstract

The QL II system consists of an automatic electronic support measure (ESM) collection and processing system installed in an RV-1D aircraft with necessary support equipment mounted in ground-based vehicles. Figure 1 shows the aircraft and the Flight Line Test Set AN/ALM-154 (which is replaced by the Cockpit Display and Control System PIP). The support equipment is used for system checkout, fault diagnosis, automatic data processing (ADP) peripheral support, and incidental maintenance tasks. The QL II system is comprised of six major components.
