GB-5 2000 lb. Marine Light Contrast Seeking Glide Bomb

Abstract

No further developments or tests are considered for the GB-5 glide bomb. This project developed out of the general glide bomb program which was initiated 1 March 1941. Similar devices are the GB-12 and GB-13, which are also light seeking glide bombs. The GB-5 was placed in experimental classification 8 December 1943.
