Project Kingfisher

Abstract

Progress of the Kingfisher project is summarized from the date the program was initiated until December, 1946. Project Kingfisher is engaged in the development of a radar-controlled, subsonic, self-homing, air-launched missile capable of delivering an explosive charge below the waterline against floating targets. Photographs of the Kingfisher and its equipment are shown.
