An Improved Wind Driven Electric Field Mill.

Abstract

It is an object of the patent application to provide an improved field mill for measuring atmospheric potential. The field mill is wind driven to rotate a series of plates at ground potential between a series of plates insulated from ground to alternately expose and insulate the insulated plates to develop an alternate current thereon that is a measure of earth potential.
