Apparatus for Insulating Stator Coils.

Abstract

The patent application describes an apparatus for producing a replicate, void free, impermeable, symmetrical electrical insulation barrier for stator motor coils is described wherein a silicone rubber compound is employed as an insulator around the preformed stator coils in a copper-beryllium mold. The coil insulation is cured at a predetermined temperature after being subjected to pressure in the mold.
