Decal Removal Compound.

Abstract

The patent application describes a decal removal compound which loosens the adhesive which bonds the decal to an aircraft's painted surface without adversely affecting the underlying protective paint system. The compound includes three active solvents, viz., xylene, mineral spirits and MIBK. The compound also includes thickeners and evaporation retardants as well as water mixed with a wetting agent.
