Bulkhead Mounted Fiber Optic Cable Connector.

Abstract

In the patent application a connector is provided for securing the ends of fiber optic cables to an opening in a low pressure bulkhead with a minimum loss of fluid pressure, and a minimum degradation of light transmitted, across the junction. The cable connectors are designed primarily for joining fiber optic cables through a pressure bulkhead of a vessel or aircraft.
