Patient Restraining Strap for Scintiphotography.
Abstract
The patent application discloses a patient restraining strap for scintiphotography having a pair of expandable cloth-like bags joined together. The strap encompasses the head of a patient and is then secured to a Gamma Scintillation Camera. Once inflated the restraining strap immobilizes the head without discomfort to the patient during the scintiphotography procedure.
