Improved Magnetostrictive Transducer.

Abstract

The patent describes a process of electrochemically plating and annealing in a protective atmosphere the surface of ferrous material used in the construction of underwater transducer scrolls and transformer cores to insulate sheets and plates from each other. The process also eliminates work hardening of the material due to handling, and increases operating and production efficiency.
