Geometrically Derived Beams Circular Antenna Array.
Abstract
The patent application relates to a circular antenna array which takes advantage of its geometry to achieve a specific type of antenna beam pattern. By spacing the antenna elements at multiple integer values of the wavelength, phase matching wavefronts emitted by adjacent antenna elements which are successively switched on causes an antenna beam to scan through space.
