Programming Valve for Modulated Pressure Control Systems.

Abstract

This invention relates generally to a programming valve and more specifically, to such a valve for modulated pressure control systems. Although modulated pressure control systems have been known to the art for some time, a recent renewed interest has appeared in these systems with regard to anti-skid brake systems. Some systems pulse the input to individual cylinders to prevent wheel 'lock up' on slippery surfaces. Other systems have means for sensing wheel 'lock up' and modulate pressure as a result of the sensory input.
