Cure Catalyst Systems for Polyurethanes.

Abstract

This patent application discusses a method for catalyzing the reaction of polyols and diisocyanates to form polyurethanes. An organometallic compound is reacted with an acidic or a carbonyl compound to generate an efficient cure rate catalyst simultaneously with a polyurethane polymerization reaction.
