A System for Vapor Cooling Electronic Equipment.

Abstract

The patent application pertains generally to heat transfer systems and more particularly to a closed system for cooling electronic equipment. A vapor cooling system comprises a liquid boiled by heat from a magnetron and collected and forced upward by the action of a collection dome and chimney arrangement. As the vapor expands in the top of the sealed metal cylinder, it condenses on the cool walls of the sealed metal cylinder and runs down the walls by the action of gravity. The condensed vapor re-enters the reservoir at the bottom of the sealed metal cylinder as a cooled liquid.
