Release Mechanism.

Abstract

A floating stepped piston transmits fluid pressure simultaneously from a single fluid input chamber to fluid within each of a multiplicity of separate fluid output chambers. Remote fluid operated members, each communicating with one of the fluid output chambers, are thus functioned simultaneously and dependently upon a single fluid pressure input. Respective piston and housing diameters define the volume of fluid expelled per unit piston traveled distance for each separate fluid output chamber. Sealing and venting structure enables precise control of output volume while preventing pressure or vacuum interference with calibrated output pressure performance or seal integrity. The device provides an event sequencer mechanism that provides design options for either simultaneous multi-functions, or staging functions with either equal or unequal force distributions from a single power input source.
