Polymers of Low Decomposition Temperature and Additives to Promote Decomposition.

Abstract

Polymeric materials having low thermal decomposition temperatures are prepared by adding acids or bases, including amines, to selected polymers which include aliphatic polyethers including polyurethanes made from these polyethers, polyesters and aliphatic polyesters including their polyurethanes, and polymers of strainfree ring monomers.
