A Method of Obtaining Spectral Transmission Signatures.

Abstract

A method of obtaining spectral transmission signatures for preselected conditions by performing the convolution of the Lorentz function with a series of delta functions. The Lorentz function is decomposed into three functions at discrete points. The three functions are sampled according to the Nyquist sampling theorem. By use of appropriate interpolation the result is obtained therefrom. (Author)
