Aircraft Launcher.

Abstract

It is a general purpose and object of the present invention to provide an improved launching system for lightweight aircraft wherein the aircraft is accelerated in a smooth uninterrupted manner for a more efficient and reliable launch. Another object of the present invention is to provide an efficient aircraft launcher in which the unlaunched moving parts are effectively arrested after launch of the aircraft without a completely separate brake system. A further object of the present invention is to provide an aircraft launching system with a built-in braking capability that is simple yet reliable and which is lightweight and easy to maneuver.
