Flow-Closing Bleed Valve Assembly.

Abstract

This inventive flow-closing bleed valve assembly is intended for use in starting a turbofan engine having a compressor section with: a fore-to-aft air flow therein; deteriorated clearances; and aft portion, and overboard duct outlets. Accordingly, the principal object of this invention is to provide a flow-closing bleed valve assembly to start such an aforementioned turbofan engine, by teaching the structure of a preferred embodiment thereof.
