Portable Battery Operated Smoke Generator.

Abstract

A portable battery operated smoke generator is disclosed for simulating the smoke of a fire. The portable battery operated smoke generator comprises a tubular housing, a direct current voltage source mounted within the tubular housing for providing a direct current, and a coil mounted within the tubular housing for superheating a liquid stored within the coil which is then discharged into the atmosphere as a vapor. Actuating means, mounted within the tubular housing, switches on the direct current voltage source so as to allow the direct current produced by the direct current voltage source to be supplied to the coil, and thus effect the heating of the liquid stored within the coil.
