Optical Recording Memory Medium.

Abstract

An optical memory medium comprised of a substrate having interspersed photoconductive and ferroelectric regions. The photoconductive regions are continuous with each other and form a matrix containing isolated regions of ferroelectric material. The medium is fabricated by making a mixture of photoconductive and ferroelectric materials and sintering or curing the mixture with relatively low temperature in comparison to the temperature that a ferroelectric ceramic substrate requires.
