Recoil Buffer.

Abstract

A recoil buffer for the barrel of a weapon has a hollow member into which a piston is mounted. The hollow member has a forward opening and the piston has an axial bore. The piston is slidably mounted to telescope into the opening of the hollow member. A yieldable member mounted between the piston and the hollow member can forwardly urge the piston. (Author)
