Direct Ohmic Heating Device.

Abstract

An apparatus is disclosed that will accomplish that rapid thawing and heating of frozen food blocks through direct ohmic heating. Electrodes made from an electrically conducting plastic make direct contact with the food, and ordinary AC power travels through the food. (Author)
