Superlattice Millimeter Wave Detector.

Abstract

This document discloses a millimeter wave detector wherein the radiation is detected by a superlattice. The superlattice consists of alternate layers of materials with thickness that provide sub-band widths in the superlattice corresponding to the energy of millimeter wave radiation. A bias voltage is applied across the superlattice and the current through the superlattice is measured. (Author)
