Sample Rate Multiplier for Fourier Transform Interferometer System.
Abstract
A simplified sample rate multiplier system is disclosed for adopting a Fourier transform interferometer system for operation in the visible spectrum. A selectable sample rate is provided which allows selection of a sample rate suitable for visible frequencies while eliminating spectral folding problems that result from undersampling techniques. The basic reference frequency is multiplied up through one or more sequentially arranged multiplier circuits to obtain the desired sampling rate. (Author)
