Laser Formed Video Tube Calibration Markers.

Abstract

This document describes an apparatus for forming fiducial marks on an imaging surface of a video tube comprising a laser system that outputs an alignment focused beam and a pulsed focused beam upon command, a driven jig positioner that holds and moves the video tube, a controller programmed to move the jig in a predetermined manner so that fiducial marks are formed on the tube in a desired pattern, and video monitoring means for observing said focused beams on the imaging surface.
