Means for Focusing and Adjusting Video Camera Systems.

Abstract

A laser is used to form fiducial marks on the imaging system of a video camera system. Fiducial marks permit adjustment of alignment controls to minimize distortion in non-linear areas by appropriate image corrections used with the fiducial marks. Placement of the fiducial marks along the periphery of the image surface permits the marks to disappear from pictures when scanning is reduced. (Author)
