Anodized Aluminum Substrates for Use in Microstrip Circuits.

Abstract

An improved microstrip circuit wherein an aluminum substrate is hard anodized to form an insulating substrate thereon. A microstrip is attached to the insulating substrate. The hard anodized insulating substrate has a thickness of about ten micrometers. As a result of decreased dimensions, a 50 gigahertz frequency range is obtained. (Author)
