Integrated Paratroop Door.

Abstract

A deployable platform for use in conjunction with a hinged aircraft door is described which comprises a hydraulically or pneumatically actuated platform pivotally mounted to the aircraft at the doorway opening and connected to the door by a linkage member pivotally connected at one end to the door and at the other to the platform to allow deploying of the platform simultaneously with opening of the door.
