Acceleration Recorder Device.

Abstract

A device for use in measuring peak acceleration (g) levels experienced by munitions during rough handling, ballistic launching or at terminal impact. The device is a self-contained mechanical concept based on the predictable deformation of a small diameter sphere with applied force. The invention described herein may be manufactured, used and licensed by or for the Government for Governmental purposes without the payment of any royalties thereon. (Author)
