Shaped-Charge Test Target.

Abstract

The Shaped Charge Test Target is a target for determining the performance of shaped-charge warheads. A test fixture includes a stand for supporting the warhead and a second stand for supporting a thin sheet-metal target a predetermined distance from the warhead. After the warhead jet has been fired through the target, the dimensions of the major and minor axis of the hole are measured and compared with allowable dimensions.
